dr. Dénes Csoba

Dénes graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest. He received scholarships in Denmark and the UK, where he earned a BA degree in European Business Law. Dénes has been a member of the Budapest Bar Association since 2017.

Before joining Vámosi-Nagy Ernst & Young Law Firm, Dénes worked at major US and UK international law firms as an associate in the M&A, Corporate Law, and Pharmaceutical Law practice groups.

Dénes has more than twelve years of professional experience in corporate law and M&A. He has substantial expertise in providing comprehensive legal services to international and domestic clients across all types of corporate law matters, including company formation, general corporate housekeeping, capital restructuring, transformation, domestic and cross-border mergers, intra-group reorganizations, and voluntary dissolution. He also gained significant knowledge through numerous M&A transactions and coordinated and supervised complex due diligence procedures in various sectors (e.g., construction, automotive, transportation, and life sciences).

Dénes has established a solid trust law practice jointly with EY’s tax experts and successfully assisted in setting up and managing numerous family and asset-holding trust arrangements, including implementing the necessary cross-border and/or domestic restructurings before and after asset contributions. 

Dénes is committed to meeting clients’ expectations with commercially sound advice and innovative solutions. For example, he introduced client identification and document countersigning via formal video conferences, helping clients save time and costs associated with Hungarian legal procedures, as well as a tool that automatically generates corporate documents for company formation and corporate data changes.
